Meet the Host
Neal Beckstrand, also known as “JB,” has hosted the Undiscovered Utah Podcast since its inception and now leads the effort to expand its mission through Undiscovered America.
Neal’s vision is to build upon the success of Undiscovered Utah by creating a nationwide network dedicated to discovering and sharing the people, places, history, and stories that often go unnoticed. This expansion will take time, but plans are underway to eventually open an application process for individuals interested in representing Undiscovered America in other states.
With a lifelong passion for the outdoors, exploration, and historic preservation, Neal believes the stories of the past should never be forgotten. Through podcasts, videos, articles, and firsthand adventures, he is committed to keeping these stories alive and preserving them for future generations.
